Super clean. The best iPhone buds. PERIOD!5
I love these buds. There are really only 3 choices for iPhone earbuds if you want the mic/control feature. I tried the UB7 Ultimate Buds Apple / Etymotic ER6i and the V-Moda Vibe Duos and these won out.

Etymotic ER6i are the same price, but not enough bass for me. They are a little bigger and not the most attractive. Only 90 day warranty. Uses the original iPhone cable which is good.

The Duos have WAY too much bass and weak highs. Some like them, but for me they sounded muddy and awful next to the UEs. The mic was big and bulky and the button was too small. The cloth cable makes noises in your ear when it rubs against your clothes. Really annoying. Mic isn't as good as the Apple phones.

The Super.fi's have a great design. Very light and I got a great fit. A really nice balanced sound. The button is a little hard to press at first, but after a while it loosens up and you get the hang of where to press - right in the middle. No other cons on these. The case is small and easy to carry. Every phones should come with a case this cool. Cable is the perfect length. Mic sounds as good if not better than the Apple phones. Nobody can tell I'm using a mic.

I hope this helps with a decision. I worked hard making this choice. You can't go wrong with these beautiful buds!!!

A balanced review using the iPhone.4
First, I would like to give you some insight as to where I'm coming from. I'm a huge music fan, musician, DJ and audio engineer. I appreciate all of the subtleties of music, not just a big booming bass. I want to hear the hi-hats, tambourines, cymbals and other high frequencies. Also, the midrange containing so much musical information (vocals & instruments). Good, solid bass is also very important. I want to experience the _music_. I want to be able to distinguish between a fretless bass guitar, fretted bass and upright bass as well as synthesizers, bass drums and floor toms.
I'm not claiming to be THE authority on audio, but I believe that I do have discerning ears.

Second, I used a variety of MP3s. Some I ripped with Apple Lossless others at 320 constant bit rate, normal stereo, NO smart encoding adjustments, frequencies below 10Hz are filtered out. A few songs from the iTunes music store at 128 & 256 just to try them out. How the song was processed did make a difference! You can't trust some swiped MP3 you got off of Napster/Gnutella, they often sound bad.

That said, my review may seem to contradict some other reviews.

IMPORTANT: It's critical that the ear-buds fit really well in order to get the best bass response! I was lucky that the first covers that I tried fit perfectly (the universal fit kit comes with several covers).

I must say that, depending on the song, these have plenty of accurate bass. If the recording lacks a solid bass try the iPhone's equalizer. Click on: settings/iPod/EQ. My favorites are: Electronic, Flat, Jazz, Loudness and Rock. Most modern music sounds best flat. The artists that I used for the test are: The Police, Sting, James Taylor, Janet Jackson (2008), Armin Van Buuren, Buckcherry, The Offspring, 3rd Party, Elvis, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Vivaldi and Billy Cobham... just to name a few.

These headphones are not perfection, but with some occasional EQ, I was surprised and very happy with the results. These will not sound as good as full sized headphones, but I was amazed at how close they are.

They block outside sound a lot which can be good/bad depending on what you're doing (outside noise/safety). For phone use they sound great, but it's weird because you can't really hear your own voice as you speak.

The design of the button to answer calls and change tracks is a weak point in an otherwise good product. I can make it work, but it requires a strong pinch. Also, a clip that attaches to your clothes and holds the wire to prevent tugging on your ears would be welcomed. You could accomplish this with a clip from Shure that's designed for lavalier microphones (music store). Are they worth the $133? For me, yes. I rate them at 4.5 stars for audio, but I would like them more if the button was redesigned. Take them for what they are... small ear bud headphones that sound very good for their size.

Super .fi 4vi iPhone headset Review4
After reading tons of reviews on various styles of headphones, and even considering getting the Shure adapter for my iPhone I decided to get this headset.

Compared to the stock iPhone head phones it's night and day. It's not even close the amount of clarity these bring to the table... there isn't really a lot to say if you are comparing them to the stock iPhone head set. It's better in every aspect audio wise. Cleaner Bass, Cleaner Mids, and Highs. Better sound isolation, so you can hear your music at lower volumes.

It comes with a nice stylish headphone case. As do most headphones, but this one is actually small enough to fit in your pocket with out discomfort. I might possibly use this one, as apposed to wrapping the headset around the iPhone when I'm not using it. Definitely a plus.

Now, the only "real" comparison I have for these head phones is against my Shure E3G head phones, and my Steel Sounds 5h (version 1) Headset.

The Steel Sound 5h is a computer gaming headset, but sounds absolutely amazing, I have a link to it later in the review. Keep in mind that it's not earbud, it's a standard over the ear headphone.

I've been an owner of the e3g headphones for a little over a year.

To test the headphones, I got my older 60gig 5th Gen iPod often times refered to as "iPod Classic". I compared it to several types of songs with no EQ settings, just unplugging, and switching headphones, not changing volume levels.

My Shure e3g headphones have better isolation than the Super .fi 4vi, but the Super .fi aren't advertised at isolation headphones, where the Shure e3g are. The Super .fi how ever do Isolate, just not as well... it still drowns out the typing on my keyboard, or the snapping of my fingers when they are a foot or so away from my face.

Bass: This was my biggest concern with every earbud headphone/set i've thought about purchasing. ALOT of it has to do with getting a "GOOD" seal in your ear... you can change the positioning just a fraction and have the difference between "NO" bass, and "WOW" that sounds good.

the Super .fi have more bass than my e3g. Fresh out of the box, with about 10 mins of fiddling around trying to get a "perfect" fit, they have alittle more defined bass than the e3g. I am very pleased with the bass, which from reading reviews of this product people said it was lack luster... I don't find that to be the case at all.

How ever, if you don't have them positioned in your ears just right, the bass is GONE, NONE, very lacking. These earbuds don't go in my ear NEAR as far as the e3g. Which means the fit is more impt, and harder to find. How ever, faster to remove and insert once you get used to finding the "g" spot.

Over all, the bass is nice. Not as rich as my Steel Sound 5h head set (which is not a earbud set)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UP83SQ/sr=8-1/qid=1199481684/ref=pd_cp_e_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1199481684&sr=8-1&pf_rd_p=250314601&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000IC0VYA&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0EPG3MAV3N29HGQR85HF

(My Steel Sound 5h is V1, not V2 just a note)

Recap of the Bass. I am very pleased with it... Better than e3g/e3c and being how iPhone/iPods distort bass if you boost it, what I find my self doing if i want more is turn on the "treble reducer" EQ.

How ever, with this headset I run no EQ... the bass is perfect.

Mids/Treble: Very clean, very clear. I find that the e3g is almost too bright, and punchy on treble. I found my self running a treble reducer on my iPod just because the treble was so over powering with the e3g. The balance is perfect on the Super .fi 4vi. The mids sound better than the e3g, and the highs are balanced better.

These headphones have a great fidelity they sound very true, very crisp, very accurate.

Did I mention they look very nice as well? Stylish look. Black cord, Nickel color headphones.

The Cons: Price. $150ish, is alot, I got mine a little cheaper, but still over $100 (at the time of this review)

The phone button/pause/next track button is hard to press. And if you're like me, you're thinking "You idiots just can't press it" No... it really is hard to press. I can switch tracks, and do everything with it just perfectly, but it's not near as easy to press as the stock iPhone headset. Which is the only down side to the headphones I've found yet. If the button was more like the stock iPhones it'd be perfect.

Quality Headset5
This product is great. It really fits egornomically on your head and of course its adjustable. The microphone extension is also adjustable. The sound quality is excellent, sounds clear and no loss of quality. The microphone records well too and at low volumes it doesn't pick up those annoying external sounds recording very clearly. All in all this is a great deal...

Works excellent for my needs.4
I bought the headset specifically for DialPad and it works excellent for my needs. I have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster 64 and a DSL line and I call my Grandma in Montana every couple days and it sounds good and has no problems.

Used in a classroom lab setting, they fall apart easily2
Our classroom lab uses these headsets and I must say that they break easily. Within three weeks we had students returning these headsets left and right with broken microphones. The part covering the ears would snap easily and break in such a way that there is no way to repair this headset.

While I understand teenagers break things easily, and that half of the headsets that were shorted out were of the student's fault (playing music through them at high volumes), it does not excuse the fragility of this product.

Compact Simplicity4
This headset is:
Small
Light
Easy to wear
Easy to pair up
Quick to charge
True to its range
Clear if not slightly hollow sounding on other end

This headset is not:
Feature rich - two buttons and a single light with 3 colors for status
Easy to break - it has some plastic, but case is aluminum and feels solid
Easy to wear for extended periods - but I have sensitive ears

I like this headest for its simplicity and style. It is not thick like other headsets and doesn't require an ear clip if it fits in your ear canal ok. It does include two extra covers to help fit your ear. If you still require security, an ear clip can be added via a loop wire and plastic adapter but it is not a very stylish addition.

It only takes 1 hour to charge using either a desktop brick, ala iPod, or a simple plug adapter. It recharges from the front in what I can only imagine is a combination speaker and charger recepticle (3-prong). When you turn it on, the LED shows a green light showing power. It quickly changes to a fast blue flashing light showing that it is ready to pair. Once paired, it will flash blue once every 10 seconds or so. When you want to turn it off, simply press the universal button on the side and hold for 4 seconds. A red light shows that it is turning off. There is a button on the side for volume (rocker style but molded as a single button).

The clarity is nice on the speaker end. People I talk to say that I'm clear but sometimes sound slightly hollow or echoey. I tested the range from my phone out to 28ft clearly. Could still talk past that but you can tell the signal is breaking up.

As far as comfort, this may be a personal area. After 1 1/2 hours of talking on it, I just had to remove it. My ear felt very irritated, much like wearing in-ear headphones for too long. Some of this was the back part of the headset (the black part) that touches my ear slightly as I wear it. I have never had it fall out by itself and I do not use the ear clip. I also do not need to turn it all the way up to hear the other party clearly, which is nice.

I am an iPhone 3G user and I recommend this headset for people who want a simple, light, clear headset. I have yet to test windage and background noise at this time. My biggest complaint is that the headsets ringtone is the Nokia sound only.

Super Stylish5
In a headset line up, Nokia is the clear winner. This tiny guy has lots of style. Because of the small size, I was initially worried about the sound quality, which was great, but in loud environments (i.e. under the airport speakers) the listener could really hear the background noise - I'm not sure if any headset can completely block out those super loud airport announcements.

Love the fit and found the functionality to be intuitive. Because its so small I was really worried about losing it but Nectar's headset holders are great. I got one of the crystal necklace ones. When I wear around my neck, people think the headset is jewelry. Way to add some much needed style to this category!

Not bad, but......3
After trying quite a few that just didn't make the cut, I opted to try this one. It's very light and easy to use and the clarity on it is great. People hear me clearly on the other end also. I just can't get a good fit into my ear. The speaker portion is too big and even with the other ear rubber covers, it doesn't shrink the size of the speaker piece. I could not use this without the loop and even with that, a quick turn of the head loosens the grip. I find myself constantly adjusting or tightening the loop around my ear again to keep it in place. I like it, but am not happy with it's inflexibility in fit.

These are 7.1 not 5.1 and I recommend them to EVERYONE! (Important setup info in review)5
These headphones are a 10 out of 10! I'm an IT specialist and on my off time I enjoy playing first-person shooter games (Half-Life 2: Deathmatch). These headphones definitely gave me an edge over the competition! I hated playing HL2DM at work during lunch because I only had regular headphones, and at home I had 5.1 surround sound. I was looking for a cheap set of 5.1 headphones and came across these. The best part is these are 7.1 NOT 5.1 as stated in the listing and on the box.

I didn't expect much, but I was COMPLETELY AMAZED by these when I set them up! It was like I was actually in the game, hearing things behind me, to the side of me, etc. It's amazing. These things outperform my 5.1 surround sound at home (well, minus the bass - but these ARE headphones) and make me feel like I'm actually in the game. Playing music and movies with the surround sound is just EPIC. The microphone is REALLY good too, when speaking everyone in the game can hear me loud and clear. I don't sound like a chipmunk, or like I'm inside a tin can.

T. Kindig and Braden Holstege don't know what they're talking about. They OBVIOUSLY didn't install the software, or configure the headphones. The surround sound WILL NOT work if you simply try to plug & play! You HAVE to install the drivers AND the software for the 7.1 to function properly. These are NOT true 7.1 as stated, but SIMULATED 7.1 (The simulation is so good, you HONESTLY can't tell the difference. If you buy them and don't agree, I'll buy them off you and give them to my friends that game with me). When the software is installed and you plug the headphones in, you'll see a little blue "USB" icon in your taskbar by the clock. Double click that and make sure to enable the surround sound by clicking the "7.1 Virtual Speaker Shifter" button. The headphones will then come to life! I've also posted a screenshot with notes for your viewing pleasure.

The ONLY drawback that I've found is that the headphones will "pop" when plugged in and unplugged like all USB headphones seem to do (don't have them on when plugging them in or unplugging them), and the volume +/- buttons are odd. I fond myself turning the volume up when I mean to turn it down, but neither of those even slightly irritate me. I usually hate stuff that's made in China because 95% of the time it's cheap junk, but these definitely do not fit into that category!

Very Decent5
For the price, you cant beat this deal. When i play counter strike now and turn on thr surround sound settings i can hear in all directions and i really have that feeling that im in the game. mic is good too. plug and play feature is awesome and saves time and i dont have to change my audio output settings.

Better yet5
So with a small amount of working this is perfect, clear audio, and when there is no audio from the headset it makes sounds from the real world clear and you can even change the volume of that. great mic.

Altec Lansing Behind-the-Neck Headset USB AHS-433
From Altec Lansing

USB & Standard Stereo Behind-the-Neck Folding Headset

Save Your Money2
I thought that this USB headset would be a great solution to my audio needs. It wasn't! The headphones were operative but of poor quality. The microphone didn't work at all.

Perhaps I just got a defective unit but I am returning it to Amazon and asking for a refund. I wish Amazon would refund the hundred dollars of my time that I spent trying to get this product to work.

Excellent5
Comfortable to wear. Picks up my voice and not background noise perfectly. I love the fact that you can use the headphone/mic jacks OR a USB plug with the adapter that's included. Great price for the quality of this product!

Great Deal for That Price4
I bought this item in a very affordable price which is very cheap compared to similar products in the market. The design is as good as it is able to be. And you can use by USB or Analog sound devices as well. Altec Lansing Headphone is just same as a call-center headset, this makes it much cooler for me, that it is very easy to wear it.
I cannot say any negative things about it since I made a very good deal with it.

review of Motorola H15 Bluetooth headset4

I am a investigator so I used the bluetooth a lot in the field, I found the H15, as far quality, better then previous units, specially because of the size, the only problem I have encounter is that the ear piece of this unit is very thin and brittle and broke within a two months after purchase, I would recomment anyone who buys this unit to buy the additional 3 piece pack that you can usually find on most internet stores, it costs around 14.00 dollars,

Motorola H15 Review5
I have been using my Moto HS805 for several years now.
I loved being able to use a AAA battery but hated the size.
I bought the H15 and I love it!
The sound is clearer than the HS805.
When I'm driving with my windows down, I don't hear that
tell-tale hiss; neither do the people I am speaking to.
It's so light, I sometimes forget I'm wearing it.
I did buy the H12 from Costco a few months back;
Hated It!
I would recommend this headset to anyone using Bluetooth;
especially in California where it is now LAW to use a
Bluetooth headset while driving!!!

Very pleased so far4
I recently ordered the .Audio 655 to replace my old Plantronics DSP 500, which I absolutely loved (for about 5 years until the mic stopped working). I was hesitant to buy a headset that had no reviews, but so far I am very pleased.

I use Skype regularly and everyone says the sound quality of my mic is superb (although they said the same with the DSP 500). The mic itself is attached to a stiff piece of plastic that swivels very smoothly (I don't anticipate it loosening any).

The USB cable is pretty thin, although plenty long. I feel like I need to be cautious with it around my kitten.

The buttons on the headset work nicely, although I preferred the DSP 500's method of having the volume controls located along the USB cable. Also, there is a blue light on the left earphone in the center of the audio controls. This light appears to be on at all times.

I have two complaints about the headset so far:
- My ears are slightly too large for ear cushions. I would rate my ears as slightly larger than normal (but not by much). Initially putting the headset on, it is extremely comfortable, but after about 20 minutes of use it becomes a little uncomfortable (this is a very mild uncomfortability).
- The headset has no drivers, and Windows XP recognizes it as "Generic USB Audio Device" whereas my old DSP was registered as a "Plantronics Headset". This may not be important to most people, but I have a lot of audio devices attached to my computer (my old DSP, a Skype phone, webcam mic, speakers, and now this headset). All of my other sound devices are appropriately named; it's a shame my newest toy is not. Again, this is a very minor complaint.

Plantronics USB headset has quality sound too5
I am a quite fussy about sound quality and to my ear this headphone is quite musical even though playing music is not its primary application. I bought this headphone for my daughter who is learning French using Rosetta Stone. Plantronics is renowned for its headsets designed for voice communication, so I bought this without much research. When it arrived, I found it is actually quite big in size and its padded ear piece sits around the ears, thus eliminates any long time wearing discomfort. The speakers are enclosed type so while you are listening to it, sound does not leak and disturbs others. It has a fold able noise cancelling microphone which has a red tip, adding some cool factor. The headphone does not need any driver, just plug it in and Windows detects it as a sound device. From usability point of view, nothing can be more easier.

It works flawlessly with Rosetta Stone, but as I have not used it with any voice chat application, I do not know how that noise cancelling microphone sounds at the other side. You can adjust volume by pressing two buttons on the left ear piece. The microphone also incorporates a cleaver design, you can mute it by raising the boom. This is quite nifty for voice conference.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of music it plays through. For a value multi media headset, I must say the sound it rich and not muddy like many other cheap headsets. If I do not have my Ultimate Ears, Shure or Audio Technical ear/head phones around, I may still use it for listening my musics through it.

The only drawback of this equipment is: it is made of plastic, it is quite big and kind of clunky as per my taste. However, if you factor in the price, I must say it is a very good buy.

Worked nicely ... for a month2
Bought this to record audio and for online conversations. Used it for a month and then I started getting reports of bad buzzing from others. Also started hearing buzzing on recordings. A call to Plantronics support yielded that an offer for an exchange. The catch being that I needed to ship my now 2 month old product to them on my dime. This is terrible considering I just paid them for the product and it stopped working after only a month. Poor quality control and policy it seems. Expected much better from such a dominant player in the space.

No Apple, but they appear to work2
Although it was clearly advertised as an "Apple" product, it was not. They look like cheap knock-offs that are cosmetically similar, but made from cheaper materials with lower quality sound than my original iPod headphones. The headphones do appear to be compatible (headphones, mic, and clicker), but they are not the headphones made my Apple and pictured on Amazon.

OK headphones2
The sound from these headphones comes out good. But after a few days a piece of the plastic covering came off, showing the wiring beneath it. I guess you get what you pay for. It's good for the price, but the quality is a bit cheap.

Wasteeeeeeee1
I Prefer Not To Listen Music, If It's With This Headset...
Wackkk....
