A mixed bag for me This product looks good and fits my threaded 1" fork just fine. It's secure and sturdy, and the quill bolt is nice and strong. However, it creaks annoyingly and loudly. If I loosen the quill bolt and tighten it back, the creaking goes away for an hour, but then it creeps back. I've tried lubricating the whole thing, but no luck. I'm shopping for another brand now. QUALITY YES;INSTRUCTIONS-NO! VERY WELL MADE PRODUCTS BUT NOT ONE WORD OF INSTRUCTIONS--A TIGHTENING TORQUE VALUE WOULD BE HELPFUL.
